No Caffeine Needed Now

While at the doctor’s office with (yes, with) Pumpkin’s mom, she asked me,

“Have you and Croi adopted other kids?”
“Would you let them see their parents if you did?”

She said, “I don’t know what’s going to happen, but if things go that way… he’s been with you since birth…”

My heart is still running a million miles a minute.

  1. oh how nice of mom to be thinking about his future, even though she can’t be with him for one reason or another that statement alone shows she does care about pumpkins future. What a nice way to end the day!

    A good relationship with the birth family is a true blessing to you and the children in your home. It isn’t easy, but it’s important and you’re doing great… And yeah, my heart would be running a mile a minute, too!!!
